HEAD COACH, CAMERON DRAKE

  • Voted 2nd best Personal Trainer in Creative Loafing’s “Best of the Bay 2022,” Coach Cameron is a NASM-CPT and 3x American Ninja Warrior. With a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Healthcare, Cameron incorporates a unique “healthy mind, healthy body” approach to fitness; to build a strong body you need to have a resilient mind.

    Cameron programs each workout with the goal to allow you to progressively challenge yourself, and learn to move with intention. Fitness is meant to be fun and free of judgement - you’ll find that and more with just one class!

Frequently Asked Questions

BEFORE CLASS

  • We recommend arriving 10-15 min before class starts. This allows the coaches to check you in or tour the gym. If this is your first class, we will have you fill out a waiver form in person or click HERE to fill online.

  • Say hello to your coaches or other members! We’re community-based, we love checking in with you. We also recommend taking some time to foam roll.

  • We highly recommend arriving at least 5 min prior to the start of the class. This allows us to properly warm-up our members. We may not allow you to jump in without the proper warm-up to prevent any injuries.

DURING CLASS

  • All Classes are Coach-led group-focused functional fitness classes. A normal class goes as follows: warm-up, plyo/strength, conditioning.

  • If you have a pre or existing injury, please disclose to the coach as soon as you can so we can scale the movements that will be most challenging, but pain-free. We may also take this time to choose movements that will strengthen the injury or mobility that will loosen tension so you will still get everything out of the workout.

  • If you are unfamiliar with some of the movements or are uncomfortable to try, we do have classes that introduces the foundation of these movements, focusing solely on movement and mechanics with little to no weight so you can properly move the way you were intended!

    We also can scale or modify the movements at the spot to target the same muscle and still give you a great workout.

    Don’t be afraid to ask!

  • We do have a cold water station, but please bring in your own bottles or you can purchase water at the front desk.

  • Any athletic clothing will do that is comfortable for you to sweat in.

AFTER CLASS

  • In the Untamed Facility, we only have a restroom. But we are connected to the Jungle Gym which has a shower in both men and women’s.

  • If there’s another class after, perhaps join in and see what it’s about.

    Otherwise, go home, do some mobility, and eat well. Maybe ask one of your coaches if there’s any on-going events at the gym or how you can get stronger.
